Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining on semi Trucks and trailers.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on Truck and trailers.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues using schematics and diagnostic tools.
- Repair or replace faulty components using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other necessary assembly techniques.
- Maintain accurate service records and document repairs performed.
- Adhere to safety protocols during all maintenance activities to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance procedures and ensure timely completion of repairs.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic .
- Proficiency with schematics, diagnostic tools, hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive repair techniques.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate heavy equipment as needed for testing or repair purposes.
- Mechanical knowledge related to assembly, electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and general maintenance practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues efficiently.
- Good customer service skills are a plus for interactions with internal teams or external clients regarding repairs or maintenance needs.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
