Reporting to the Director, the Administrative Lead is responsible for leading, supervising and direction of the day-to-day activities of the designated administrative team members, as well as performing the administrative functions of the team. The Administrative Lead works closely with clinical operations and leaders, providing consultation, advice and documentation such as complex statistical reports and summary briefings. The Administrative Lead also participates in Island Health leadership meetings and receives access to confidential knowledge as it relates to program development and operational changes. The Administrative Lead provides a variety of documentation such as written correspondence, and complex statistical reports and charts to managers, directors and Executive.
A level of education, training and experience equivalent to a diploma in a related discipline such as Public or Business Administration. A minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible administrative experience in a large complex organization, including supervision of unionized employees, financial and budgetary experience.
