Job Overview
We are seeking an Apprentice Painter/Decorator!
As a Painter & Prepper, you will be responsible for prepping surfaces and work areas for kitchen cabinets, furniture, and other interior residential applications and apply factory new finishes with paint sprayers, as well as brush+roll application on occasion.
Duties for an Apprentice Painter/Decorator:
- Remove, label, transport, and reinstall cabinet doors, drawer fronts, and hardware.
- Wash, degrease, sand, and prepare cabinet surfaces for paint spraying.
- Mask and protect floors, countertops, appliances, and surrounding kitchen areas.
- Read work orders and inspect surfaces to ensure preparation and repairs are complete.
- Prepare and spray primer and top coatings according to project specifications.
- Inspect finished surfaces and complete any necessary touch-ups.
- Clean and maintain spray machines, tools, and equipment.
- Keep the workshop and customer’s home clean, organized, and safe.
- Communicate professionally with customers and travel to the workshop and job sites as required.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum of one year of manual labour or related work experience preferred
- Valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable personal vehicle.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel between the workshop and customer job sites.
- Willing to learn.

Pay: $18.50-$23.00 per hour
