Job Summary
In this Sales Associate role, you will be responsible for driving SpectraLab Scientific's refurbished chromatography, spectroscopy and other analytical equipment sales. You will work with our sales team to exceed sales targets in your region. You will work with our sales team to exceed sales targets in your region, with performance-based commission in addition to your base salary. You will be expected to create opportunities, nurture relationships as well as develop successful strategies and tactics to grow our market share in a competitive marketplace.
Job Type: Permanent, Full time (9am- 5pm EST) Monday to Friday
Languages: English
Education: B.S., M.S. or Ph.D. in Biology, Chemistry or related field is preferred
Responsibilities:
- Drive opportunities through the complete sales cycle for HPLC, GC, MS, and other equipment
- Develop customer relationships
- Schedule calls with clients and follow up on leads promptly
- Successfully negotiate sales transactions
- Manage a complex set of demands and relationships to maximize customer satisfaction
- Provide regional market and product feedback to management
- Use CRM and other tools as required to drive business
Skills/ Requirements:
- 2+ years of sales, laboratory, or related industry experience
- Strong knowledge of laboratory equipment and sales workflows
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Ability to think outside the box
- Strong computer knowledge
- Valid driver license
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Strong decision making skills
- Fast self learner
- B.S., M.S. or Ph.D. in Biology, Chemistry or related field is preferred
This is NOT a remote position. Candidates must reside within the GTA area and be eligible to work in Canada to be considered.
