Construction Labourer
Do you want to be a part of the team bringing Meridian’s innovations to life? We are currently seeking full-time permanent Labourers to assist with construction of our project in Kelowna, BC.

What You’ll Be Doing
As a labourer your responsibilities will be completing tasks as assigned by a foreman/supervisor, such as:
· Load and unload construction materials on job site
· Cleaning and preparing job site
· Directing the safe, effective and organized setup and removal of all equipment
· Identify hazards on site and respond appropriately
· Use of hand and power tools
· Maintain high standards of health and safety processes at all times to avoid accidents or injuries
· Other duties as assigned
How You’ll Succeed
You are hard-working and have an interest in the construction industry. You are able to multi-task and shift focus multiple times in a day. You are conscientious of the safety of yourself and others while working. You have a keen desire to learn.
What You’ll Need
· 1-3 years’ experience in the construction industry an asset
· Valid driver’s license
· Steel toed boots
· Punctual and reliable
· Able to follow instructions
· Ability to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
· WHMIS 2015
· Fall Protection is an asset
