Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist them in selecting menu items with enthusiasm and knowledge of our offerings.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through friendly suggestions.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties, cash handling, and processing payments with basic math skills.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, adhering to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication between front-of-house and back-of-house operations for efficient service delivery.
Qualifications
- Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude.
- Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is highly desirable.
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment through excellent time management skills.
- Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and accurate order processing.
- Understanding of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Experience in food preparation or kitchen operations is beneficial but not required.
- Excellent communication skills to provide guest services that exceed expectations.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
