Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our innovative team at Blue Haven Dental in Canada. This role is crucial for maintaining our commitment to patient safety and high-quality care as we grow our dental start-up.
Responsibilities
- Perform dental cleanings and assessments for patients.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
- Assist in developing individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix software.
- Collaborate with dentists on patient care and treatment options.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control measures.
- Participate in community outreach programs to promote dental health.
- Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices.
Qualifications
- Valid dental hygiene license in Canada.
- Proficiency with Dentrix software.
- Experience in a dental office setting, preferably with pediatric patients.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and orthodontics is an asset.
- Bilingual skills are a plus for effective patient communication.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
