The company is in the final stages of construction of its first Cannabis Cultivation Facility and is preparing for full scale operations.
We are currently looking for multiple growers to join our fast-growing team. We offer training, flexible working hours and a casual environment.
The Grower Levels 1-3 will work to maintain high quality production practices throughout day-to-day operations, excelling at accurate documentation.
Assist the Master Grower in all production and post-production activities as needed.
Ensure all Standards of Practice are followed and ensure our strict crop hygiene and environmental practices are followed and enforced at all times.
Maintain data integrity of all software.
Calibrate, operate, clean, and maintain equipment used and maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
Follow Hybrid Infusions’ policies and contribute towards the goal of achieving production targets within set timelines.
Conduct lot coding and tracking of individual Cannabis plants and the resultant harvested bulk and finished cannabis products.
Sanitation of equipment and production areas, preparation and maintenance of nutrient reservoirs and irrigation system.
Assure all cannabis products are free from contamination risk at all processing stages.
Implement standard procedures that maximize equipment safety, sanitation practices, maintenance support and assure consistent quality product output.
Ensure that refuse and waste products are managed and destroyed as per the current approved Standard Operating Procedures.
Work effectively under the direction of the Master Grower in daily cultivation tasks.

Ability to perform all tasks in the cannabis cultivation process.
Understanding of all aspects of cannabis cultivation including, cloning/planting, irrigation, nutrient management, plant maintenance, pest and pathogen controls and light cycles regulation for optimum plant growth and harvesting.
Excellent documentation skills.
Focused, dedicated professional approach with high attention to detail.
Knowledge of GPP, GMP and GLP.
Knowledge of plant diseases, insects, and fungi, as well as plant treatment processes.
Professional, clear, and positive communication practices.
Accountability, proactive behavior, strong attention to detail.
Works well alone and in a team environment.
Strong verbal and analytical skills with accuracy in relation to data.
Computer literate in Microsoft Office and capable of running greenhouse software.
Understand cannabis plant health, nutrient delivery, strains and genetics, and grow techniques.
Willing to work all shifts, including weekends as needed.
Experience working within a Cannabis cultivation and/or farming environment.
Demonstrated experience in cultivation of Cannabis or other delicate commercial crops.
Strong Agricultural background in a GAP and HACCP regulated environment, with proficiency in various cultivation and plant maintenance techniques.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in cannabis cultivation, horticulture, or related field
Minimum 2 years experience in a greenhouse environment.
High School Diploma
Local to the Edmonton Area
Willingness to work weekends
Physical aptitude and health necessary to perform manual labor tasks required for the proper management of cultivation facility.
Able to work in humid warm environment for long durations.
Preference given to candidates with:
Post-secondary diploma in relevant field.
Advanced knowledge of Cannabis Act, Cannabis products and its approved uses.
Knowledge of hydroponics systems.
Food and beverage industry experience.
Landscaping industry experience.
Previous Health Canada Security Clearance and work experience with a Canadian Licensed Producer (LP).
$30,000 to $60,000 per year.
