Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee our company's financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. Responsibilities
- Manage all accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets to provide insights into company performance.
- Oversee account reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies, variances, or irregularities and implement corrective actions.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other platforms to maintain accurate financial records.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and standards.
- Assist in the development of budgets and forecasts to support strategic planning initiatives.
- Coordinate with external auditors during audits and ensure timely completion of audit procedures.
- Maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
Skills
- Proven experience with accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other relevant platforms.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
- Expertise in accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and account reconciliation.
- Ability to perform detailed account analysis and budgeting activities.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills for reporting financial information clearly to stakeholders.
- Prior experience in a Controller or senior accounting role is preferred.

Pay: $90,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
