Position Description
This position reports to the Branch Manager and is responsible for providing modernization solutions to customers as a member of the Sales Team. This includes coordination of projects, pre-sale visits, site verification, staff communication, and post-completion follow-up. Work outside core hours and travel throughout the GTA and Southeastern Ontario as required.
Responsibilities
- Represent Delta’s core values of Integrity, Service and Quality in relationships with both internal staff members and external customers and suppliers.
- Follow Delta policies / procedures, Employee Handbook, and Health & Safety Manual.
- Cultivate leads and grow the Delta brand through interaction with building owners, property management companies, architects, consultants, and team members.
- Prepare, submit, track, and follow-up on modernization quotations.
- Determine requirements from specifications and review of existing equipment.
- Initiate, manage, and communicate job correspondence to appropriate departments.
- Project manage, collect site data, prepare documents, kick off meetings, client advising.
- Ensure approvals are related to the scope of work and manage/create CO for deviations.
- Reduce potential liability through contract review and negotiation with the customer.
- Support branch maintenance growth targets using strong client cultivation skills.
- Cross train with other sales departments to provide coverage for absences and vacation.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through sales, installation, and post completion processes.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
- Five years of industry experience in a sales or technical role
- EDM-A, EDM-F, EDM-T or equivalent preferred.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office programs
- Valid driver’s license. Superior customer service attitude.
- Excellent time management and organization skills
- Excellent oral and written communication.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize to meet deadlines.
- Ability to read and interpret various standard industry drawings.
- Relationship sales mentality considered an asset.

Pay: $32.00-$35.00 per hour
