Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Order Picker to join our distribution team. This role is essential for ensuring accurate and efficient order fulfillment within a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse operations, heavy equipment, and order picking processes, contributing to smooth shipping and receiving functions. This position offers an opportunity to work with various types of heavy machinery and develop skills in warehouse management systems.
Duties
- Accurately pick and prepare orders using warehouse management systems
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, and other load/unload trucks
- Load and unload shipments safely and efficiently
- Maintain organization of inventory and ensure proper storage of goods
- Assist with shipping & receiving tasks, including documentation and inventory control
- Support warehouse safety protocols during all operations
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity goals
- Perform heavy lifting and manual handling of goods as required
- Ensure all safety standards are adhered to during operation of heavy equipment and manual tasks
Skills
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or related fields
- Proficiency with order picker machines, forklift operation
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for order processing
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate heavy equipment safely
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in order picking accuracy
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
