Duties
- Provide professional hair styling services including cuts, color, highlights, and treatments tailored to client preferences.
- Ensure proper sanitation and cleanliness of tools and workstations in compliance with health standards.
- Engage with clients to understand their needs and recommend suitable hair care solutions.
- Upsell retail products such as shampoos, conditioners, styling tools, and hair treatments to enhance client satisfaction and sales.
- Manage front desk responsibilities including scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and handling payments.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor throughout each interaction.
- Stay updated on the latest hair trends and techniques through ongoing education and training sessions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hair styling or cosmetology preferred; valid cosmetology license required.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices within a salon environment.
- Ability to upsell retail products confidently while providing excellent service.
- Experience in retail sales or front desk operations is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude.
