Job Description:
Experienced Mover/Driver needed, with the ability to safely operate and drive the company pickup truck with trailer attached, pack, load and unload household goods, and provide excellent customer service to clients. Responsibilities include heavy lifting (75-100+lbs), securing cargo, completing paperwork, and navigating to locations. Requires a clean driving record and a criminal record check.

Your Role:
In addition to driving one of our pickup trucks (with the moving trailer attached), you will help move items. Genie Senior Services specializes in seamlessly transitioning seniors from their 'family home' to a senior care home or retirement residence; you will play a vital and integral role within our dynamics. Hours are Monday- Friday, typically 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., but exact times can vary (sometimes we start earlier and some days we run later). Rarely (maybe once every month or so) we do have a Saturday shift pup-up as well (and then usually give a different week day off instead).
What you'll need:
- Driving & Logistics: Safely operate moving trucks (pickup truck with 18ft trailer) and perform pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Hold a valid Ontario Class G or higher license, with a good driving record.
- Loading/Unloading: Move, lift, carry, and load furniture and boxes weighing up to 100 pounds, often using dollies, blankets, and straps to prevent damage.
- Packing & Assembly: Pack items, pad-wrap furniture, and disassemble/reassemble furniture at the new location. Ability to hang picture frames and mount a TV.
- Customer Service: Provide polite and professional customer service. Answer questions and resolve issues. Demonstrate ability to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
