The ideal candidate enjoys working in a very collaborative people-forward space, as the role aids in assisting staff and clients alike. Training is fully provided for the necessary office and medical software to ensure comprehension.
The day-to-day requirements:
- Clear proficiency using Apple & Google Office Suites, JANE online scheduling & billing software (training will be provided for all)
- Strong communication skills for the following:
- - client rapport-building- interpersonal capabilities with both clients and team to ensure tasks are completed as requested- Medical literacy to be able to provide clients with a detailed understanding of their insurance provider feedback (both private insurers and ICBC / WCB), and to complete medical information and privacy requests.- Excellent spelling and grammatical skills- Detail oriented- Strong critical thinking- Ability to take initiative and be a self-starter
