The Role
We are looking for an experienced and personable Server to join our front-of-house team. As a Server at The Little Sparo, you will be the face of our dining experience, guiding guests through our menu, sharing the stories behind our dishes, and delivering warm, attentive, and unscripted service that keeps people coming back.
Please note: team members may occasionally be assigned to support service at Regners Bar, located upstairs, during high-volume periods.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional, guest-focused service in an upscale-casual dining environment
- Deliver knowledgeable and engaging descriptions of our Italian-inspired menu and daily features
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, process payments, and manage tables using Maître D POS software
- Maintain a clean, organized, and properly set dining room at all times
- Collaborate closely with kitchen, bar, and management teams to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Anticipate guest needs and handle special requests, dietary restrictions, and concerns with care
- Assist with opening and closing duties, side work, and restocking as required
- Support service at Regners Bar upstairs when needed during busy periods
- Uphold all health, safety, and responsible alcohol service standards
- Other assigned duties as required for restaurant operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of serving experience in a full-service restaurant setting (required)
- Experience with Maître D POS software is a strong asset
- Strong knowledge of food, wine, and Italian cuisine is preferred
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and multitasking skills
- Polished, professional presentation and a genuine passion for hospitality
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Smart Serve certification required
- Comfortable working in a hotel restaurant environment

Pay: $17.60 per hour
