Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Assistant to join our educational team. This role is vital in supporting the development and learning of young children in a nurturing and engaging environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, possess strong communication skills, and be committed to fostering a positive learning experience for all students.
Duties
- Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans and activities that promote early childhood development.
- Support children during classroom activities, including play, learning exercises, and social interactions.
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
- Provide individualized attention to children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities.
- Support children's social-emotional development through positive reinforcement and guidance.
- Assist with meal times, nap times, and other routine care activities.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to ensure a collaborative educational experience.
Requirements
- Previous classroom experience or background in early childhood education is preferred.
- Passion for working with children and understanding of child development principles.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members.
- Knowledge of basic math concepts suitable for early childhood education.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and adapt to changing needs.
- Commitment to creating an inclusive, supportive atmosphere that encourages learning and growth.
Pay: $20.50-$23.00 per hour
