Job Summary
Enseri is on the search for a dynamic Director of Marketing for our client in Markham. This pivotal role requires in-office presence every day during the onboarding phase. Post-onboarding, the position will follow a hybrid schedule, requiring three days a week in the office.
As the Director of Marketing, you will be the visionary driving force behind our client's marketing and communications strategies. You'll play a key role in crafting and delivering captivating messages that make their products stand out in a competitive marketplace.
Leading online and offline campaigns, you'll be at the helm of their corporate branding and storytelling initiatives that drive both awareness and engagement. Your creative flair and strategic acumen will be essential in shaping unique narratives that resonate with a diverse audience.
In this role, you'll oversee the full spectrum of marketing activities, including strategy development, creative direction, public relations, social media management, and review management, all aimed at achieving our client's business objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement the company's long-term marketing strategy to support business growth and market expansion.
- Provide visionary leadership to the marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence.
- Align marketing strategies with the company's overall business goals and objectives.
- Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels (digital, social media, email, print, events, etc.).
- Ensure marketing strategies and tactics are data-driven and aligned with the latest industry trends and best practices.
Brand Management
- Oversee the development and execution of brand strategies to enhance the company's market presence and reputation.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging and positioning across all marketing channels and communications.
- Lead efforts to increase brand awareness and customer engagement through effective public relations and communication strategies.
Product Marketing
- Work closely with product managers and software developers for strategic product positioning and development.
- Provide feedback to product development teams and participate in product feature development.
- Lead brand strategies and research new opportunities for product promotion in both retail and digital spaces.
- Advise on digital strategy to ensure brand consistency.
Marketing Operations and Budget Management
- Oversee the planning, development, and execution of all marketing initiatives and campaigns.
- Manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to achieve maximum ROI.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives, providing regular reports to the executive team.
- Identify and implement marketing technologies and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Team Management and Development
- Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing marketing team.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the marketing team.
- Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback to team members.
- Collaborate with other senior leaders to ensure marketing initiatives are aligned with company-wide objectives.
- Provide guidance and support to the team to ensure seamless execution of marketing plans and campaigns.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in Marketing or Communications.
- Exceptional creative and corporate writing skills.
- Strong understanding of design principles and brand management.
