Apex Distribution Inc. is seeking a Warehouse / Assistant Valve Tech based out of the Grande Prairie, AB Valve Services branch. Duties will include
- Disassemble/Assemble and test API / PSV valve components in accordance with production order requirements.
- Hydrostatic body and seat testing and low-pressure air seat testing of finished valves.
- Identify non-conformances by separation and/or marking.
- Follow all work order, process traveler requirements and instructions
- Record information as required for tracking and traceability of finished product and component.
- Hydro testing
- Tagging and painting
- Prepare and ship orders, process information using internal system
- Distribute incoming shipments to appropriate department
- Assist with inventory management
- Operate forklift
- Unload and load materials, equipment, and tools by hand or with other basic equipment
- Pick up and deliver product in town and to customer sites
- Ensure regular cleanliness and organization of the warehouse
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Adhere to company safety policies and procedures
- Working in a fast-paced environment with a large team
Qualifications
- Valid class 5 driver's license and driver's abstract
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
- Forklift experience preferred
- Able to lift and carry up to 50lbs
- Able to safely use hand tools and table saw
Strong verbal and written communication skills
