We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support the planning, analysis, and delivery of hospital infrastructure modernization initiatives and integration projects. This role will work closely with Project Managers, Clinical Operations, Facilities Management, Biomedical Engineering, Security, IT Infrastructure teams, and external vendors to gather requirements, analyze workflows, assess operational impacts, and support successful implementation.
The successful candidate will serve as the bridge between clinical, operational, facilities, and technical stakeholders, ensuring business needs are clearly defined, documented, and aligned with project objectives while maintaining patient safety, regulatory compliance, and operational continuity.
- Lead requirements gathering workshops and stakeholder interviews with clinical, operational, facilities, security, and technical teams.

Elicit, analyze, validate, and document functional, non-functional, operational, and technical requirements.

Develop business requirements documents (BRDs), use cases, process flows, workflow diagrams, and other project artifacts.

Ensure requirements are clear, traceable, testable, and aligned with project goals.

Document current-state and future-state workflows related to nurse call processes, emergency response procedures, and life-safety operations.

Analyze impacts to clinical operations, patient care delivery, facilities operations, security services, and support models.

Identify workflow gaps, risks, dependencies, and opportunities for process improvement.

Collaborate with stakeholders to validate operational requirements and proposed future-state processes.

Support analysis and documentation of integration requirements between Nurse Call Systems, Fire Alarm Systems, Security Systems, Building Automation Systems, and related technologies.

Collaborate with IT Infrastructure teams, vendors, and technical subject matter experts to understand system interfaces, data flows, network requirements, and operational dependencies.

Ensure business and operational requirements accurately reflect technical constraints and implementation considerations.

Support technical design discussions by providing business context and operational requirements.

Support project managers with impact assessments, implementation planning, cutover activities, and operational readiness planning.

Participate in vendor workshops, solution reviews, testing activities, and implementation planning sessions.

Assist in the development of training, support, and transition plans to ensure successful adoption.

Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), issue tracking, and validation of implemented solutions.

Identify and document project risks, assumptions, constraints, and dependencies.

Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and decision-making sessions.

Prepare documentation and presentations for governance committees, project steering groups, and executive stakeholders.

Maintain strong alignment between clinical, operational, facilities, and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- 7+ years of Business Analysis experience supporting large-scale technology, infrastructure, or transformation initiatives.

Experience working within healthcare, hospital, or clinical environments.

Proven experience gathering and documenting business, operational, and technical requirements.

Strong experience facilitating workshops and engaging diverse stakeholder groups.

Experience developing process maps, workflow documentation, gap analyses, and business requirements documentation.

Experience supporting vendor-led technology implementations or system replacement projects.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively alongside Project Managers in complex project environments.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience supporting Nurse Call, Fire Alarm, Security, Building Automation, RTLS, Clinical Communications, or related hospital operational technology projects.

Experience with healthcare infrastructure modernization, redevelopment, or facilities-related projects.

Familiarity with healthcare regulatory, accreditation, patient safety, and emergency response requirements.

Experience supporting systems integration and interface-related initiatives.

Knowledge of healthcare operations, clinical workflows, and hospital support services.

CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or similar Business Analysis certification considered an asset
