Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with food industry best practices are preferred. The Server will play a key role in delivering memorable dining experiences through excellent customer service and efficient service skills.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring proper entry and communication with kitchen staff
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, utensils, and dining areas in accordance with food safety standards
- Assist with food preparation or kitchen duties as needed to support overall restaurant operations
- Ensure compliance with food handling regulations and sanitation protocols
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Address guest inquiries or concerns professionally to ensure guest satisfaction
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, with knowledge of the food industry standards
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry and cashiering
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse needs
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for accurate bill calculation and cash handling
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest experience and sales revenue
- Experience in food preparation or kitchen operations is a plus but not required
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and interact with guests professionally

Pay: $17.20-$18.00 per hour
