Department: FM-PRO (Facilities Management – Planning, Redevelopment and Operations)
Reports to: Manager, Space Operations
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Status: Permanent Full-time

An integral member of the Planning and Integration department within FM-PRO, the PROJECT COORDINATOR, WAYFINDING AND SPACE is responsible for planning moves, signage, or space reconfiguration projects, and assists in the organization and delivery of small construction and design projects under the direction of the Manager, Space Operations. The principal responsibilities include: planning & execution of wayfinding projects across all UHN sites; maintaining and/or fabricating updates for digital directories & maps; coordinating between various stakeholders while adhering to UHN sign standard; supporting the planning and execution of multiple simultaneous construction projects; coordinating and implementing scale planning and redevelopment strategies; performing financial responsibilities; performing quality management responsibilities; performing administrative responsibilities to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the department; performing cross-functional and other duties consistent with the job classification as assigned/requested.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Successful completion of a University Degree or College Diploma, preferably in Graphic Design, Art & Design, Interior Design, Architectural or Engineering Technology, or recognized equivalent
  • Proficiency using Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop & Acrobat Pro)
  • Proficiency using AutoCAD
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent problem recognition and resolution skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Computer literacy required
  • Experience with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is an asset
  • Experience working in healthcare environment is an asset
