We are growing. We are in need of another finance representative. We are seeking an accountable, self-motivated financial expert who has a track record of success. The successful candidate will strive to be an over-achiever who can produce consistent quantifiable results on a weekly/monthly basis while requiring limited supervision to accomplish sales and customer satisfaction targets.
Under the supervision of Management, the Finance and Insurance (F&I) Representative is responsible for:
· Consulting with clients to facilitate the financing of their vehicle purchase or lease;
· Effectively presenting insurance and protection products that meets the needs of the client;
· Provision and execute all legal financing documentation according to OMVIC law;
· Liaise and maintain good working relationships with various lending institutions;
· Creating work orders while working with staff members to fulfill vehicle delivery expectations;
· Maintaining a high-level of performance metrics to ensure departmental profitability goals;
· Informing and training sales staff on new or changing products and services;
· Providing consistent and clear communication between all departments;
· Accurate reporting of information to financial institutions, along with providing input on improving processes, protocols and tactics; and
· Other duties as required.
The successful candidate will possess:
· At least 2 years experience as a Finance and Insurance (F&I) Representative at a new and used vehicle dealer;
· Practical knowledge of menu or step presentation process;
· Excellent math skills and problem solving mentality;
· Strong time-management skills;
· Ability to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues;
· Over-achieving qualities with the self-motivation to always improve.
· Superior telephone etiquette and interpersonal skills;
· Experience selling finance and insurance products;
· OMVIC license with in-depth knowledge of the laws of the F&I and sales department;
· Valid G driver’s license and provide us with a clean abstract and a clean criminal record report.
· Strong computer skills with knowledge of: finance portals, Excel, CRM databases; and
· Confidence, well spoken and written with a strong empathy and customer service skills.
