A bit of a hybrid job. Approximately half your hours are dedicated to filling/loading and delivering licensee deliveries. Your remaining hours are distributed as a front end sales associate.
The ideal candidate for this position is friendly, detail oriented, and able to handle the physical demands of the job. A successful candidate will be required to work various shifts including evenings, weekends and statutory holidays.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Customer service including greeting guests as they enter the store and assisting them in finding a product that suits their tastes and budget
- Receiving and putting away orders
- Filling orders
- Stocking products on the shelves
- Cleaning and maintaining the overall appearance of the store
- Other duties as assigned
- Weekly licensee deliveries
Qualifications & Skill Requirements:
- Experience operating a forklift or willingness to learn
- Deliveries using the provided transit van.
- A clean drivers abstract
- A good knowledge of wines, liquor & beer products or willingness to learn
- Be able to perform physically demanding work, including lifting 40-50lbs boxes and manuevering 160lb kegs on deliveries.
- A valid ProServe™ Certificate is required within 30 days after hiring.
- Required to work various shifts including evenings, weekends and statutory holidays
