We are looking to hire an Administrative Assistant for our Langley location.
Primary Functions and Responsibilities:
- Receive orders and quote requests from customers
- Price orders or direct to sales, ensure profit values are within guidelines and obtain approvals
- Coordinate the efficient shipment of product to the Customer
- Monitor overaged inventories with sales and customers.
- Prepare packages for Courier
- Calculate costs including freight, extra machine time, die costs, outside work, set ups etc.
- Complete change orders/re runs
- Process and code vendor invoices, matching with Purchase Orders/Receiving
- Verify accuracy and completeness of invoices in adherence with AP procedures
- Prepare and process payments for suppliers
- Create new suppliers in the system
- Assist with AR collections activities
- Filing and general office duties
Job Requirements
- 5 years administrative experience, preferably in the Printing and Packaging Industry
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Must be detail oriented and have excellent, quality driven work habits
- Must be able to work with and around inks, solvents, and other chemicals
- Ability to work well with others and in a diverse workforce environment
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
