About Group Fit
Group Fit is a personal training platform available across the USA and Canada. We help certified trainers manage the business side of personal training, including bookings, scheduling, payments, client messaging, rebookings, and trainer profile visibility.
Trainers can offer sessions:
- In-person at the client’s location
- At their own studio or training space
- Virtually
This is an independent contractor opportunity, not an employment position.
What You’ll Do
As a Group Fit trainer, you will:
- Deliver 1-on-1 personal training sessions
- Set your own rates, availability, service areas, and specializations
- Manage bookings through the Group Fit platform
- Review client PAR-Q health questionnaires before sessions
- Communicate with clients through the app
- Keep your trainer profile and certifications up to date
Who We’re Looking For
We are looking for professional, certified personal trainers who want more control over their schedule, pricing, and client bookings.
You should have:
- A current personal training certification such as NASM, ACE, ISSA, NSCA, or equivalent
- Current CPR/AED certification
- Government-issued photo ID for identity verification
- A reliable smartphone
- Authorization to work as an independent contractor in the United States
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude
How Pay Works
- You set your own session rates
- Rates start at $50 per session
- You are paid per completed session
- There is no salary, hourly wage, or guaranteed minimum
- Group Fit retains a platform commission from completed sessions
- Commission details are shown in the Trainer Terms during onboarding
- Payouts are processed weekly by direct deposit

Independent Contractor Details
Trainers are independent contractors and are not employees of Group Fit.
You control when you work, where you offer sessions, which bookings you accept, what you charge, and how you deliver your training services.
You are responsible for your own taxes, certifications, equipment, and business expenses. Group Fit does not provide employee benefits, PTO, or employer-paid insurance.
