Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our hotel team. In this role, you will be responsible for engaging with customers and providing excellent service to enhance the meeting experience. The ideal candidate will have prior sales experience, be enthusiastic, organized, and possesses strong communication skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual abilities are an asset but not required.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in meeting their needs
- Conduct site visits and explain features to customers effectively
- Upsell additional products or services to maximize sales opportunities
- Operate POS systems accurately for transactions including cash handling and credit card processing
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple customers efficiently during busy periods
- Use phone etiquette skills to assist customers over the phone and schedule appointments when necessary
- Keep organized records of sales transactions and inventory levels
- Support team members in achieving goals and maintaining a positive environment
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, or technology sales preferred
- Bilingual skills (English and additional languages) are a plus for serving diverse clientele
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and basic math for handling transactions accurately
- Experience with product demos, merchandising, and upselling techniques is advantageous
- Strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and time management are essential for success in this role
- Knowledge of phone etiquette and customer engagement strategies will enhance the customer experience
