Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated AZ Owner Operator to join our transportation team. This role involves operating commercial trucks to transport freight efficiently and safely across various routes. The ideal candidate will have experience with heavy equipment operation, freight handling, and possess a strong commitment to safety and reliability. As an AZ Owner Operator, you will be responsible for managing your own vehicle and ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining compliance with all transportation regulations.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight over designated routes
- Load and unload freight using equipment such as forklifts when necessary
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of your vehicle to ensure optimal performance
- Comply with all federal, state, and local transportation laws and safety regulations
- Manage delivery schedules to meet deadlines and customer expectations
- Maintain accurate documentation of shipments, deliveries, and vehicle logs
- Perform minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to prevent delays
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery status and issues
Qualifications
- Valid AZ Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Experience operating heavy equipment, forklifts, or similar machinery preferred
- Knowledge of freight handling and securement procedures
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting
- Strong understanding of commercial driving regulations and safety standards
- Proven reliability with excellent time management skills
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Prior experience in freight transportation or logistics is a plus

Pay: $150,000.00-$250,000.00 per year
