National Workforce Recruitment Coordinator

Position Overview:
AFIMAC Canada is seeking a highly motivated and people-focused National Workforce Recruitment Coordinator to join our growing team in Guelph, Ontario.
This role is responsible for recruiting, screening, coordinating, and onboarding personnel for deployments and assignments across Canada. Working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, the successful candidate will support on-demand, short-term, project-based, and long-term staffing requirements for Security Personnel, Investigators, Executive Protection Agents, Skilled Trades, and Industrial Labor positions.

Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Source, attract, and recruit candidates using job boards, social media platforms, referrals, networking initiatives, and direct outreach.
- Conduct candidate screening, interviews, and assessments to evaluate qualifications, experience, and suitability.
- Manage multiple recruitment campaigns simultaneously while meeting aggressive timelines and staffing targets.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines across Canada for both immediate and future workforce requirements.
- Promote the AFIMAC employer brand and deliver a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
Workforce Coordination & Deployment Support
- Coordinate recruitment activities for on-demand, short-term, emergency response, project-based, and long-term assignments.
- Support staffing requirements for:
- Security Officers
- Investigators
- Executive Protection Agents
- Skilled Trades Personnel
- Industrial and General Labor
- Collaborate closely with Operations and Deployment teams to understand workforce requirements and staffing priorities.
- Coordinate candidate onboarding, credential verification, background screening, and employment documentation.
Candidate & Employee Relations
- Build trusted relationships with candidates and employees across Canada.
- Act as a primary point of contact throughout the recruitment and onboarding process.
- Maintain regular communication with candidates to ensure engagement and responsiveness.
- Assist with employee retention and workforce engagement initiatives.
Administration & Reporting
- Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment data.
- Track recruitment metrics, staffing activity, and hiring progress.
- Ensure compliance with internal recruitment policies and applicable employment legislation.
- Prepare recruitment reports and workforce analytics as required.
Qualifications
Required
- 3+ years of recruitment, staffing, talent acquisition, or workforce coordination experience.
- Demonstrated experience recruiting in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Exceptional interviewing, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including:
- Outlook
- Word
- Excel
- PowerPoint
- Teams
- Strong attention to detail and administrative accuracy.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
- Legally eligible to work in Canada.
Preferred
- Bilingualism (English/French) is considered a strong asset.
