Overview
We are seeking a motivated Lighting Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be hard working, comfortable at heights, quick to learn, and have a keen attention to detail. They will be responsible for the installation of various shaped aluminum tracks and lights on soffits and fascia, using a drill and aviation snips. They will ensure that all installations meet quality standards and customer satisfaction. This role requires attention to detail, comfort working at heights (6-30 ft), technical proficiency, and a commitment to safety.
Responsibilities
- Perform installations of punched aluminum hattrack and puck lights on soffits and fascia of residential and commercial buildings, according to specifications and company standards.
- Conduct site assessments to determine installation requirements and potential challenges.
- Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure timely and efficient project completion.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, adhering to safety protocols.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any installation issues that may arise during the process.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client questions and concerns professionally.
Requirements
- No experience required. Great first employment in the trades with plenty of room to learn and receive consistent raises according to working speed and proficiency.
- Ability to use hand tools effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to move and set up ladders.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team leaders.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects when necessary.
- Valid driver's license may be required for travel to job sites. For those with no liscence or vehicle, required to meet at shop each morning to carpool.
