Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in guest rooms, public areas, and other designated spaces. This role is essential in providing a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests and staff, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are consistently met. Prior experience in hospitality or custodial services is preferred, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn. The Housekeeper plays a vital role in upholding the reputation of our establishment through exceptional cleaning and customer service.
Duties
- Clean and disinfect guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to established standards
- Change bed linens, towels, and replenish supplies as needed
- Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, and dust surfaces to maintain a pristine environment
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used safely and stored properly
- Follow safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Assist with laundry services when required
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude while interacting with guests and staff
Requirements
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality standards
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including standing, bending, and lifting
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to follow safety guidelines related to cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Prior hotel experience or familiarity with hospitality standards is advantageous but not mandatory.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
