Our decor and rentals division is seeking a reliable setup and takedown technician / decorator / general laborer. This individual would support with the setup of floral arrangements, backdrops and general labour related to decor and event setup.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general labor tasks as assigned by supervisor (move chivari chairs, foldable banquet tables, small scale furniture, build backdrops, clean and store inventory)
- Assist with loading and unloading of decor materials from van
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment (push carts, dollys)
-setup drapery and decor for evets
- Clean and maintain work areas
-Create floral arrangements as needed (including the cleaning and transportation of florals etc)
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures
- Complete tasks efficiently and in a timely manner
Skills:
- Ability to lift objects 60 lbs +
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Good communication skills / Problem solving skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
Experience working at heights a plus
Good sense of design, style and experience in hospitality a plus.

Travel is required within Toronto, GTA, Brampton, Hamilton and Niagara therefore reliable transportation and license required.
