About The Role:
Bethany is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an IT Analyst for an 8-week summer position, working 35 hours per week.
This role is funded through the Canada Summer Jobs Program and offers an opportunity to gain practical experience supporting a variety of IT functions. To be eligible, candidates must be between the ages of 18 and 30.
You will report to the Infrastructure and Technology Manager and will be responsible for a range of duties. You will learn about Bethany’s philosophy and processes and what it’s like to work in an IT department that supports a multi-site, mid-size organization. Your main priority will be to assist in enhancing the resident’s quality of life.
What You Will Do:
Some of these duties will include:
Respond to first level requests for assistance via phone and email
Install software
Image and deploy PCs to our sites around Southern Alberta. Some travel will be required.
Log all issues and call activity into the Support Desk Tracking system, maintaining accurate records
Monitor progress on problem resolution and advise users on status
Remain current with changes in the technical environment

What You Bring:
You are between 18 and 30 years of age at the start of employment
