Electrical Foreman
Location: Nisku
Key Responsibilities
· Coordinate construction and installation to maintain the construction schedule.
· Monitor work in progress, backlogs and workloads and make necessary recommendations.
· Handle construction and installation planning priorities.
· Receive, handle and issue materials for the work.
· Initiate or complete receiving inspections, when required.
· Lead, organize and instruct Journeymen and Apprentices to perform a scope of work.
· Lead daily safety meetings.
· Monitor the work progress and quality.
· Communicate the need for inspections and tests.
· Read and interpret electrical, mechanical and architectural drawings and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts.
· Ensure that work performed includes any change of scope.
· Ensure that daily permits and client specific reports are completed on a daily basis.
· Participate in job site final walk though.
· Assist the project manager in the coordination of on-site activities and monitoring of progress
· Layout and plan the installation. Quantify and order required material
· Provide input relating to the resolution of any design or installation issues
· Where possible participate as part of the initial handover team to plan the job from the onset
· Ensure all electrical maintenance operations are in compliance with applicable regulations and trade practices;
· May supervise apprentice electricians and troubleshoot problems that occur with the job, submit requests for supplies and tools to ensure that they are available on the worksite when needed
Qualifications
· The successful candidates will be:
o Certified Journeyman
· And have the following:
o A valid Driver's License and a good driving record
o Training in First Aid, H2S, CSTS/PST, Fall Protection
· A minimum of five years of industrial experience leading successful E&I construction projects.

Pay: $40.00-$45.00 per hour
