We are seeking a motivated and dependable Manual Truck Driver to join our dynamic logistics team! Duties
- Safely operate manual transmission trucks for local and regional deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or manual handling techniques, ensuring items are secured properly for transit.
- Assist with warehouse activities such as moving inventory, organizing shipments, and preparing goods for dispatch.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and fluid levels to maintain optimal safety standards.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, delivery documentation, and vehicle maintenance records.
- Provide excellent customer service by representing the company professionally during deliveries and addressing customer inquiries courteously.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver’s license appropriate for operating heavy trucks.
- Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a warehouse environment.
- Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse equipment is preferred; certification is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers.
- Knowledge of moving cargo safely using manual techniques or forklifts; familiarity with warehouse operations is advantageous.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere strictly to safety protocols.
- Prior experience in logistics or distribution centers is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.

Pay: $20.72-$36.78 per hour
