Kelmar Ltd. is a family-owned electrical and shallow utility company with deep roots in Alberta. Since 1984, we’ve grown from one electrician and a van in Sundre to a team of 200+employees building Calgary’s newest neighbourhoods.
Our shallow utilities division installs and repairs 4-party utilities (power, gas, tel, and cable) in brand-new communities. We’re known for quality, reliability, and taking care of our team.
And right now – we’re growing fast and looking for hardworking labourers to join us!
Who We’re Looking For:
We want motivated people who are:
- Experienced in shallow utilities OR excited to get started in construction
- Physically fit and enjoy working outdoors in all weather
- Safety-conscious, team-oriented, and willing to learn
- Able to lift 50 lbs and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ready with (or willing to get) PPE: hard hat, safety glasses, vest, steel-toed boots
- Holding a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- CSTS-20 with WHMIS 2015 and excavations modules is required before starting.
What You’ll Do
- General site maintenance and clean-up
- Spotting for equipment
- Installing utility wire and pipe
- Heavy lifting & pulling wire
- Other duties as required by site foreman
