Bagel Barn is looking for an experienced Production Baker to join our growing team.
If you have experience working in a commercial bakery and enjoy producing high-quality baked goods from scratch, we'd love to hear from you.
This is a hands-on role focused on preparing our fresh bagels and other bakery products each day. We're looking for someone who takes pride in consistency, quality, and working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Mix and prepare dough from scratch
- Weigh, divide, and form bagels
- Bake bagels and other bakery products
- Prepare a variety of house-made cream cheeses and spreads
- Follow recipes and quality standards to ensure consistency
- Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work environment
- Monitor inventory and communicate ingredient needs
- Assist with other bakery production tasks as required
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a commercial bakery is required
- Experience mixing dough and working with bakery equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work early morning shifts
- Food Handler Certification is an asset
