Overview
We are seeking a motivated Auto Body Apprentice to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Assist experienced technicians with repairing and restoring vehicle body damage
- Learn to use hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment safely and effectively
- Prepare vehicles for repair by removing parts or masking areas as needed
- Support in sanding, grinding, and finishing surfaces to meet quality standards
- Help with the assembly and disassembly of vehicle components during repairs
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures during daily operations
Qualifications
- Dealership experience or automotive repair background is a plus but not required
- Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with automotive systems preferred
- Experience with hand tools and power tools is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively
- Strong interest in automotive repair and bodywork with a willingness to learn new skills
- Prior mechanic experience or related training is beneficial but not mandatory
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team environment
