General Labourer/Mover – Temporary
About Our Client
Our client is looking for staff to furnish the building they are renovating/opening for THREE DAYS THIS WEEK ONLY. They require 8 heavy-lifting employees! If you and/or your friends are ready to work THIS WEEK on June 17th & June 18th & June 19th, please apply!
What You Will Be Doing, as a General Labourer/Mover:
- Unloading trucks of furniture and other household materials
- Moving that furniture into the building and up to the rooms
- Use of dollies is available, but most will by hand (you and other employees)
- Stand, walk, bend, lift for the duration of the shift – very heavy.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You Should Have, as a General Labourer/Mover:
- Heavy labour experience of at least 1 year
- Ability and willingness to work for all 3 days
- Mandatory PPE: safety boots/shoes, gloves, hard hat and vest. This is an active construction zone and without these you will be asked to leave the site.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs (more, with a team)
- Attention to detail
- Strong communication skills in English is a must
- Able to follow verbal and written instructions
In Return, You Will Receive:
- $18/hr plus 4 % vacation pay accrued and paid out when requested
- Paid daily via EFT
- Access to a Vertical Representative Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
The Shift You Will be Working is:
- June 17th & June 18th & June 19th (more shifts can follow, depending on what is available, and your performance/attendance)
- 8:00am start – 8 to 10 hour shifts possible, must be flexible
