Burnaby Repo.com is seeking a full-time Sales Associate to join our team as one of our long-term employees' positions has become available.
Sales Associates are responsible for assisting customers and completing daily office duties. This includes but is not limited to sales, managing reception, office administration, paperwork, cleaning and lifting and loading items.
This opportunity is great for energetic individuals who enjoy social interaction and working with people.
As a Sales Associate, you will be handling the sale of vehicles, RVs, boats, motorcycles, ATVs, and many of the other unique items that our facility manages.
To be effective in this job, you should have:
* English speaking and writing skills
* The ability to communicate effectively
* Basic computer skills in Outlook, Word, Excel, and Internet
* The ability to take initiative and be pro-active
* Attention to detail
* Self-motivation and the drive to succeed
* Basic knowledge of vehicles
* A class 5 driver's license (class 7N eligible provided you will get your full license when eligible)
* The ability to drive manual transmission vehicles, or a willingness to learn
* Vehicle Sales Authority License (not required to apply, but will need to be acquired, criminal record check is required to obtain a sales license)
* Flexibility to work during all hours of operation, Monday to Saturday (your shift will be 5 days per week)
The ability to speak Hindi and Punjabi is a plus, but not required.
The ability to work with Social Media is a plus, but not required.
A motor vehicle salesperson license is required to sell vehicle in British Columbia. You do not need to have the salesperson licence to be a candidate, you can acquire it after being hired. This company will pay for 50% of the licence fees annually.
Salary:
Your initial base wage is $20.50 per hour plus performance bonuses. Including bonuses, new employees earn an average of $25.50 per hour and there is no limit to the maximum wage eligible. Medical and dental benefits are included, paid by Repo.com and come into effect after three months.
