Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Kitchen cooks, prep cooks/Front of House team member to join our vibrant restaurant. This role involves preparing and supporting food preparation, ensuring food safety standards, and providing excellent service to our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, and serving people, with experience in a team environment , food handling, and a positive attitude to contribute to a welcoming dining environment.
Duties
- Assist with food preparation and meal assembly, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
- Serve food and beverages to customers in a courteous and professional manner
- Maintain cleanliness of the front-of-house area, including tables, counters, and service stations
- Support kitchen staff with basic cooking tasks as needed
- Handle food safely according to industry standards and restaurant policies
- Restock supplies and ensure all areas are organized for efficient service
- Engage with customers to enhance their dining experience and address any needs or concerns
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and meal preparation techniques
- possession of valid food handlers certificate an asset
- Strong serving skills with a focus on hospitality and customer satisfaction
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting or moving supplies
- A genuine interest in the food industry and hospitality service standards

Pay: $17.20-$25.16 per hour
