Job Brief
A construction working Foreman/Carpenter is responsible to coordinate operations/oversee workers and trades at construction sites. As the point of reference of both workers and managers, you will be a key person for the completion of the projects.
Requirements, a solid background and knowledge in the construction industry will be key to project success. Your leadership skills and your extensive experience have earned you the ability to direct the work of others and make quick decisions. Being well-organized, favoring safety and following procedures above everything else.
Specifications/ Responsibilities
● Coordinating construction work according to priorities and plans
● Assisting in producing schedules and monitor attendance of crews
● Allocating general and daily responsibilities
● Supervise workers and tradespeople
● Ensure manpower and resources are adequate
● Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met
● Supervise the use of machinery and equipment
● Monitor expenditure and ensure it remains within budget
● Resolve problems when they arise
● Report on progress to managers, engineers etc.
● Quality Control
● Material, rental and delivery management
● Ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols
● Communicate with clients in a timely manner
● Ability to perform site work ( carpentry, finishing, general labor)

Starting wage based on experience
$35 to 45 per hour
