Position Overview:
We are seeking dedicated and caring Caregivers to join our team in providing exceptional home care services to our clients. This role requires reliable transportation as you will be driving within the community and to clients' homes. Key Responsibilities:
As a Caregiver with Monarch Home Care, your duties will include:
- Assisting clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Providing companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Helping with meal preparation and ensuring dietary needs are met.
- Assisting with light housekeeping and laundry tasks.
- Administering medications as directed (where applicable and permitted).
- Monitoring clients' well-being and reporting changes to supervisors or healthcare professionals.
- Driving to clients' homes and assisting with community-based errands or appointments.
- Ensuring the safety and comfort of clients in their homes.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Ability to drive in the community and travel to clients' homes.
- A compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to assist clients with mobility and daily tasks.
Preferred:
- Previous experience in home care or nursing.
- Familiarity with care planning and documentation.
