Job Overview
Hypercare is seeking a self-motivated, energetic people-person to join our growing team as a QA Automation Lead Engineer in the exciting and rewarding world of healthcare technology. This will be a multi-faceted role in a fast-paced environment, so the ideal candidate should be an ambitious individual looking for a dynamic work environment and be willing to work alongside frontend and backend engineers, designers, and healthcare professionals. You will have a chance to qualify production grade web and mobile applications being deployed in a very regulated environment. This will be a 12-month Contractor position, with the potential for renewal based on performance. This is also fully remote role.
Key activities and responsibilities include the following:
- Define, architect and build QA program within Hypercare with team of QA engineers and automation tools
- Lead QA team at Hypercare
- Perform manual testing
- Conduct load and performance testing on our APIs
- Support the review and oversight on the quality of all software products created by our engineering team
- Support the integration of automated test suites into our CI/CD pipeline
- Help to streamline and improve the effectiveness of our QA process
- Create high level and detailed test cases based on design and product specifications
- Analyze bugs and errors found during tests
- Document results of tests for the software development team
- Motivate the development process for efficiency and performance

- Proficient in Playwright (JavaScript) for UI testing and Appium (Java) for mobile testing.
- Good understanding of Postman and Postman API
- Familiar with tools like Locust, bombardier, and JMeter
- Previously developed test suites for iOS, Android, and web API's
- Worked in an agile work environment
- Experience with bash scripting
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- A team player with the ability to work in a supportive team environment as well as independently.

Compensation Package
- Base Salary: $4,500 to $5,700 per month (Canadian Dollars)
