Highlander Wine & Spirits is looking for a dynamic individual to help us lead our team at the retail level.
The responsibilities of this position include:
- Retail sales
- Offering best-in-class customer service for all retail customers
- Responsible for assisting with customer inquiries regarding wine cellar management and sales
- Delivering a high level of service and customer experience
- Maintaining pace on new products, and industry trends
- Merchandising, ensuring the store is stocked and procedures and policies are followed
Requirements:
- Enthusiastic, you have an infectious, go-getter attitude
- Constantly staying inspired, generating new ideas
- Have Sommelier, WSET or ISG equivalent training
- Positive attitude and spirit, willingness and enthusiasm in embracing new challenges
- Value strong teamwork and can effectively participate and motivate others working within a team environment
- Goal-oriented
- A clear self-starter
- Ability to take direction, be coached and adapt to change
- Have existing wine/spirit knowledge

Highlander Wine & Spirits has been proudly serving Albertans as a premium retailer of fine wine, spirits and beer since 1996. Originally a popular off-sale in the old Highlander Hotel, our history dates back to 1961.
Our original Trans-Canada Highway location has been known as a best-kept secret by wine lovers for almost two decades. Now, we are nine locations strong and our team of service and wine professionals strives to keep current with the needs and wants of our customers.
