Job Description:
The PARTS DELIVERY DRIVER is responsible for driving to multiple locations, working with several vendors, shelving incoming stock, order fulfillment, and general maintenance of the warehouse. They must be professional, polite, energetic, and friendly.
General Responsibilities:
- Daily verification of stock orders in communication with Shipper & Receiver and other Drivers
- Accurately matching parts to invoices – inspecting all incoming parts for damage and documenting issues
- Picking up/delivering orders and parts as needed
- Locating stock parts
- Maintain a clean and presentable vehicle
- Communicate effectively with management and department staff
- Other warehouse maintenance duties
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with clean driver’s abstract
- Ability to drive a ½ ton truck
- Must be familiar with city streets with good sense of direction
- Able to lift at least 50 lbs
- Effective communication skills and a teamwork attitude
- Ability to work independently but also within a team environment
- Organized and detail oriented
- Time management skills
- General understanding of automotive systems an asset
