About Us
We are a fast-paced, customer-focused quick-service restaurant in Newmarket, Ontario. We are looking for an experienced and dependable Restaurant Manager who can take ownership of the day-to-day operation of the restaurant and help build a strong, organized, and positive team environment.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who enjoys working with people, maintains high standards, communicates well, and takes pride in keeping the restaurant running smoothly.
This is a hands-on management position. The successful candidate will be involved in everything from training and coaching employees to maintaining food quality and store standards, organizing daily operations, implementing new promotions and recipes, managing inventory, and supporting local marketing initiatives.
Duties
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and ensure smooth, efficient service.
- Lead, train, coach, and support restaurant staff while maintaining a positive team environment.
- Ensure food quality, preparation, cleanliness, and overall store standards consistently meet company expectations.
- Ensure employees follow company policies, recipes, procedures, and food safety standards.
- Communicate new promotions, menu items, recipes, and updates from head office to the team and ensure they are properly implemented.
- Monitor inventory, organization, product rotation, and food waste, and communicate ordering needs.
- Address customer concerns professionally and ensure a high level of customer service.
- Identify operational issues and take initiative to resolve them without always requiring direction from ownership.
What we are looking for
- Previous restaurant or food-service supervisory/management experience.
- Food Handler Certification is required.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Hands-on approach with the ability to lead by example.
- Ability to train employees and provide constructive feedback.
- Positive attitude and strong customer-service skills.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy periods.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when required.

Work Environment
This is a hands-on management position. The successful candidate will work alongside the restaurant team and may assist with daily restaurant operations whenever needed.
The role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable standing and walking for extended periods.
