We are seeking a dedicated Heavy Duty Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and safety across various commercial facilities. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of large-scale commercial spaces, including floors, walls, windows, and fixtures using heavy-duty cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Conduct routine facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs, equipment upkeep, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Manage waste disposal efficiently and ensure all cleaning activities comply with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to complete cleaning schedules efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and notify management when restocking is needed.
- Identify areas requiring additional attention or repairs and report them promptly for further action.
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency during all cleaning activities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance preferred.
- Have knowledge of standard methods, practices, tools, and equipment of the janitorial service
- Have knowledge of the proper use of chemicals, fertilizers, and pesticides
- Have the ability to follow instructions
- Ability to operate and use janitorial tools, equipment, and supplies such as floor buffers, vacuum cleaners, and cleaning compounds and solutions
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety procedures.
- Ability to operate heavy-duty cleaning machinery safely and effectively.
- Good physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic maintenance skills are a plus, including troubleshooting minor repairs or issues within the facility.
- Reliable transportation or access to work site as required.
