Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team and expand our presence throughout Alberta, with a primary focus on Calgary and surrounding areas.
This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic, growth-focused environment and enjoys building strong client relationships while developing new business opportunities in the commercial and industrial construction sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and inbound leads throughout Alberta
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with general contractors, facility managers, property owners, engineers, architects, and industrial clients
- Conduct on-site assessments to understand client needs and project requirements
- Prepare and present customized proposals, quotations, and flooring system solutions
- Meet and exceed sales targets and performance objectives
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and opportunities using CRM tools
- Collaborate with operations and project teams to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments within Alberta
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote company services and strengthen market presence
Qualifications
- Proven B2B sales experience (construction, industrial, manufacturing, or coatings industry preferred)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently
- Ability and willingness to travel throughout Alberta as required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Preferred Assets
- Experience selling polymer coatings, concrete restoration, flooring systems, or industrial services
- Existing network within Alberta's construction, industrial, manufacturing, energy, or commercial sectors
- Technical understanding of construction processes and flooring systems
- Experience working with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders
