Our client, a well-established beverage manufacturer in Kitchener, ON, is looking for dependable and safety-focused Can Line Operators to join their production team. What You'll Do
- Operate and monitor automated canning and packaging equipment.
- Inspect cans, labels, packaging, and finished products for quality compliance.
- Complete production documentation accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S and GMP standards.
- Follow all food safety, quality, and workplace health & safety procedures.
- Work collaboratively with maintenance, quality, and production teams to minimize downtime.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience operating production or packaging equipment in a manufacturing environment.
- Beverage, food, consumer packaged goods, or high-speed production experience is considered a strong asset.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced production environment.
- Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs throughout a 12-hour shift.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable attendance and a positive work ethic.
Schedule
- $21.00 / hr (shift premiums available)
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 12-Hour Continental Rotation
- Work approximately 14–15 shifts every 28 days
- Every other weekend off
