EPCOR Ontario Utilities provides safe & reliable service to natural gas customers in Aylmer and electricity distribution service to the communities of Collingwood, Stayner, Creemore and Thornbury.

Brief Description
The Receptionist is responsible for greeting the public at the front desk and helping each person with their enquiry for ENGLP for South Bruce. This includes ensuring that all visitors sign in, processing Customer payments and answering all general enquiry phone calls and emails.

The Receptionist is accountable to the Administration and Field Supervisor, and operates within the context and prescribed limits established by Administration and Field Supervisor.

EPCOR has one (1) full-time, permanent position available, located in South Bruce, ON!

Detailed Description
Reporting to the Administration and Field Supervisor, the Receptionist is accountable for, but not limited to:

Provide input to the Administration and Field Supervisor’s plans and directions, and ensure on-going appropriate relationships with other positions.
Ensure the delivery of optimal results against appropriate performance metrics. Meeting Customer expectations, functioning with operational effectiveness and ensuring efficient outcomes.
Prepares daily cash receipts and bank deposit.
Processes all Customer payments at the front counter.
Helps all Customers, Suppliers, Visitors and Delivery People in person
Responds to Customer move enquiries by phone, in person and by email.
Prepares OEB and month end reporting for Customer complaints and phone call tracking.
Processes all new service applications.
Prepares courier packages.
Purchase of office supplies based on prescribed limits by Administration & Field Supervisor.
Manages and tracks all Customers deemed low income and follows all social agency rules.
Demonstrate a high performance, high discipline, safe, accountable, focused, innovative and achievement-oriented, easy to do business with manner of working.
Job Requirements
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

Grade 12 diploma or G.E.D. (or equivalent).
2+ years of general receptionist experience
Office Administration certificate or diploma is an asset
Detailed general knowledge of ENGLP
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to change in fast-paced environment.
Ability to meet expectations independently and in a collaborative team environment.
Strong verbal communication skills (including; active listening, emotional intelligence, and the ability to phrase and re-phrase information in a simple, clear and concise manner).

Location: South Bruce, Ontario

Hours of work: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

A technical/practical assessment may be administered during the selection process and this exercise will be used as a part of the selection criterion.
